Africans Teaching Africans (ATA) is active in 24 Africans countries and modeled after the earliest church. The earliest church did not have Bible Colleges and Seminaries, just like much of Africa. All the earliest church possessed was the Gospel and they took it all around the Roman empire and established Christianity.

Pascal SilungweMy names are Pascal Silungwe (Rev.), and this is my wife named Beauty Mwansa. I am currently pastoring the church, I have been engaged by Mount Moriah Christian Fellowship (church) as a church planter and I have enjoyed and continue to enjoy planting churches. Besides planting churches I am also teaching in the Miami International Seminary Centers (MINTS) in Zambia besides being the Voluntary National coordinator for the same. Africans Teaching Africans is the answer to many Christian leaders in Zambia. This is because all the Bible schools in Zambia concentrate on those who are literate and those who are illiterate, despite the calling, cannot access Bible training. However, many thanks to Africans Teaching Africans because it is bridging that gap hence reducing erroneous teaching in the church. My plan is to start as many Africans Teaching Africans centers in Zambia as possible. I intend to reach all people groups including the schools, the prisoners, and the rural part of Zambia. Another thing I plan to do is to try and see how I can help in alleviating the illiterate level in the church because this has been a major hindrance to the gospel. For those who cannot read, it becomes difficult to fully live an authentic Christian life because they cannot read so that they get the first-hand information.
